CBSE Issues June 6 Extension for Class 12 Post-Result Facilities
CBSE has issued a fresh update for Class 12 students after the 2026 board results. On 6 June 2026, the Board released a circular extending the deadline for post-result declaration facilities for Class 12 students. This is an important update for students who want to apply for result-related services after the declaration of marks. The notice is now listed on CBSE’s official examination circular page. The latest circular comes soon after several post-result notices were already published in May. CBSE had first announced the post result declaration facilities for Class XII on 15 May 2026, followed by a Part-2 notice on 17 May 2026. In between, the Board also issued a separate circular on 20 May 2026 about obtaining scanned copies of answer books, and later extended that timeline again on 22 May and 24 May 2026. For students who are checking whether they still have time to apply, this June extension is the key update to note. (cbse.gov.in)
CBSE also released a clarification on 4 June 2026 about totaling of marks when extra questions are attempted. This matters because many students leave extra answers in the paper, and the Board has now officially clarified how such responses will be handled while calculating marks. That makes this week’s update especially useful for students who are worried about their score, photocopy request, verification, or other post-result steps. (cbse.gov.in)
If you are a Class 12 student from the 2025-26 batch, check the latest circulars before the deadline closes. Students should only rely on the official CBSE website for application dates, result-related facilities, and any further extensions. (cbse.gov.in)
