CBSE Class 12 supplementary results 2026 declared on DigiLocker

CBSE has declared the Class 12 Supplementary Examination 2026 results. The result notice is dated 12 August 2026. Students can access their result and digital academic documents through the DigiLocker Results Portal.

This is a new update, not a repeat of our earlier Class 12 supplementary date-sheet post. The date sheet told students when to write the exam. This notice confirms that the result is now available.

## What changed

The result covers three groups of Class 12 students:

- Compartment candidates: Students who did not secure the qualifying marks in one of the five mandatory subjects. - Candidates with six subjects: Students who were declared passed after an additional subject replaced a main subject, but who appeared again in the main subject. - Improvement candidates: Students who had already passed but appeared in one subject to improve their performance.

CBSE registered 2,91,576 candidates for the supplementary examination. 2,75,287 students appeared. Of these, 1,64,231 were in the compartment category and 1,11,056 appeared for improvement.

The compartment-category pass percentage is 53.08%. CBSE says the compartment pass percentage in 2025 was 38.36%.

The result itself does not open a new re-evaluation window. CBSE’s press release says that details of post-result facilities will be notified separately through an official circular. Do not pay any fee or follow a social-media message claiming that a new correction or re-evaluation window is already open.

## What you must do next

1. Open the official DigiLocker Results Portal. Use the result link shown on CBSE’s official website or in the official press release. Keep your roll number, school number and admit-card details ready if the portal asks for them.

2. Download or save the result carefully. Keep a PDF or clear screenshot for your records. Check your name, roll number, subjects, marks and result status.

3. If you passed the compartment examination, contact your school. Regular students should ask when the printed marksheet-cum-passing certificate will be distributed. The school, not the student, handles delivery of these printed documents.

4. If your result shows an error, do not assume that it will be corrected automatically. First compare it with your admit card and examination records. Then wait for CBSE’s separate post-result circular. CBSE has not announced the deadline or fee for these facilities in the 12 August press release.

5. If you are a private candidate, check DigiLocker and your registered address. Printed documents are normally sent to the registered address. Candidates under the Delhi East and Delhi West Regional Offices should also watch for collection instructions from their examination centre.

6. If the result is not visible immediately, try again later. Results portals can become slow when many students log in at once. Do not share your roll number or Aadhaar details with unofficial websites or callers.

## Who this does NOT apply to

This update does not apply to students who took the regular Class 10 examination, the Class 10 Second Board Examination, or the Class 12 main examination only. It also does not apply to Class 9, Class 11, CTET candidates, or students waiting for the 2026-27 board registration process. Students who applied for verification or re-evaluation of the Class 12 main examination should follow that separate process; this supplementary-result notice does not reopen it. Students who passed the main Class 12 examination and did not register for improvement are also not part of this result list.
